Baby Hazel's Pretty in Pink Newborn Photos | Grosse Pointe Newborn Photographer

I most often photograph babies, children and families in Grosse Pointe and Metro Detroit, but when the opportunity to photograph a newborn came along, of course I was thrilled, I love newborns!

Little Hazel was my first newborn in a few years, but oh boy was it a real treat to photograph her. Her beautiful skin, color, hair and of course that yummy newborn smell... And the adorable little pink outfit I picked for her looked absolutely stunning!

Originally this session was scheduled to be a combo of an outdoor and indoor location - she is the first of what I hope to be a successful Miles Stone Package of telling the story of growth and development along side the passing of the seasons. But due to heavy rain, we postponed the outdoor portion to later in the week (like my facebook page to be the first to see more from that session)!

Even though my main focus is the outdoor portion, I really wanted to photograph her indoors on the white blanket in soft light as something about that setting really captures the angelic pureness of a newborn and I really want parents to have at least a few shots like this.
