This early September session was so much fun to shoot. This session was originally scheduled as a mini session for a Great Grandma and her grandchildren. Our location was beautiful Detroit townhouse right on one of the Detroit River's canals, which was a real treat for me to see as they are all gated communities and I have not yet had the opportunity to shoot in one.

One of the families arrived a little early, so I decided to take advantage of the extra time and shoot some extra shots. After all, not everyone lives into their 90s and I did not want to let this Great Grandma miss an opportunities to have as many special portraits with her great grandchildren as possible. I am so glad I did, now everyone has a special picture from the day!
