Winter Family Sessions

Winter may not seem like the obvious time to have a family photo session, but there are many bonuses to scheduling in winter. First, is the soft evening light that in summer comes at 9:00ish is available around 4pm - perfect for little ones. Second, the beautiful soft pink light of winter is really hard to beat...it really makes getting out in the cold worth it.

Here is a session I did on November 30th. I just love how the family seems to glow in the gorgeous pink light...you would never know it was pouring rain half of the day!
