Detroit Outdoor Newborn Photo Session

The mom of this angel contacted me when she was three weeks old and wanted to get some pictures of her before she changed too much - and boy do newborns change fast! Luckily I had some availability and was able to get her in the following week. She chose my outdoor petite session which comes with five images and I recommended a local urban flower farm, Detroit Abloom. Their magical gardens have lots of nooks and crannies that are perfect for short, newborn only sessions.

My Petite Newborn Sessions are perfect for new parents who are looking to get a handful of beautiful and timeless images. I aim to create five unique images that are perfect for framing and creating beautiful wall art.

I often have parents call me for sessions after they have had their baby, especially this year. Some photographers will not take mature newborns, but I love photographing them! The only thing I inform parents of is that older newborns are often more aware of their surroundings and sometimes really interested in the session and do not want to fall asleep. My Petite Sessions are designed to be short and so they are great for older babies who are outside of the super sleepy window of 5-18 days old.
