I do not always admit this, but no matter how long I am photographer or how many babies or families I photograph, I am always nervous when delivering images. Making my clients happy is so important to me, that my stomach is literally in knots when I hand over that stack of prints for them to view...every single time! So it is no surprise that entering photo contests is not really my thing. This year, I decided to put my discomfort and nervousness aside and enter a contest.

Photographing little Esmae was so much fun. This little cutie had the perfect amount of smiles and serious faces to capture...and she had the most beautiful, shining blues eyes!
