Spring Bloom in Grosse Pointe
Well, instead of April showers we had April flurries here in Michigan- lol. The unseasonably cold weather delayed our spring bloom a few weeks here in Metro Detroit, but when it came it was beautiful!
The daffodil gardens we have in and around Grosse Pointe really are amazing. Last year my clients joked about being in Narnia, this year one of my young clients said he felt like he was in the movie Peter Rabbit.
Year round I tell people to consider a spring session. Yes, the Michigan weather is unpredictable...you might be braving the cold (this year) or sweating a little (last year), but the results are always beautiful!
This brave family met me on a very chilly late April morning, but it was so worth it! Even though it was cold they smiled, laughed and were rewarded with beautiful images!
Little Charlie is one of my Four Seasons Babies (my milestone program). So far I have had the honor of photographing him three times...all of them in chilly Michigan weather. I am so looking forward to his one year session in July! But here is a little view of images from his past sessions. Just look at how he has grown!
