Late Summer Family Session | Metro Detroit Photographer

Up until a week or two ago, it felt like this summer was never going to end. But September is one of my favorite months for family sessions here in Metro Detroit. As fall nears the days begin to get shorter and the soft light of early evening comes earlier, which really helps with babies.

This beautiful family recently moved to Grosse Pointe and I was able to photograph them at one of my favorite spots in town - the Ford Estate. I love the Ford House because no matter what kind of day it is, there is always beautiful light and beautiful scenery for family photos.
